EmpowerED Families Memphis is a whole-family stabilization organization serving youth ages 8–18 and their parents across Memphis & Shelby County. We work alongside school partners as one coordinated team around every student.

Mission Statement

The mission of EmpowerED Families is to strengthen families by providing education, resources, and supportive programs that empower parents and youth to thrive academically, socially, and economically while building strong and stable family foundations.

Vision Statement

The vision of EmpowerED Families is to create thriving communities where families are equipped with the knowledge, support, and opportunities needed to build healthy relationships, achieve educational success, and sustain generational stability.

Our Stance

One team around every student.

We are not anti-school. We are not just a parent advocate. We are a third-party teammate who sits at the same table as parents and school staff and works toward the same outcome: a student who graduates, stays out of the justice system, and steps into adulthood with choices.

We translate between home and school. We help parents prepare for IEP and 504 meetings, and we partner with teachers, counselors, and administrators who want the same thing we do.
