The mission of EmpowerED Families is to strengthen families by providing education, resources, and supportive programs that empower parents and youth to thrive academically, socially, and economically while building strong and stable family foundations.

The vision of EmpowerED Families is to create thriving communities where families are equipped with the knowledge, support, and opportunities needed to build healthy relationships, achieve educational success, and sustain generational stability.
The EMPOWER Framework
The EMPOWER Framework is the model behind everything we do. It keeps parents, schools, and our team aligned around the same outcomes for every student.
We promote academic success by helping families understand school systems, supporting IEP/504 advocacy, and encouraging lifelong learning for both parents and youth.
Positive mentorship helps youth build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills while providing guidance during critical life decisions.
We collaborate with schools, courts, community organizations, and families to ensure youth receive the support systems needed to succeed.

Our Approach
Most kids do not need a system. They need a coordinated team in their corner. EmpowerED Families Memphis works alongside students, parents, and school staff to put structure, advocacy, and accountability in place early so a hard year does not turn into a hard decade.
We are not adversarial. We translate between home and school, advocate for parents in rooms they have not always been heard in, and partner with educators, counselors, and administrators who want the same thing we do: a student who graduates, stays out of the justice system, and steps into adulthood with choices.
How We Work
From the first conversation to long-term mentoring, every family walks through the same supported path with us alongside them.
We start with a conversation. Parents and youth meet with our team to share what is happening at home and at school, identify the most urgent needs, and set clear goals together.
We sit at the same table as parents and school staff. We help families prepare for IEP and 504 meetings, share research-backed strategies with teachers, and build a single plan everyone supports.
Together with parents we build daily routines and accountability systems that work in your household. We coach parents through the hard moments, not just the planning.
Stabilization is not a single meeting. We stay in the picture with mentoring, check-ins, and diversion support so progress sticks long after the initial crisis passes.
